    Inventory Controller/Analyst

    This is a newly created role to consolidate Inventory control and reporting. It is very hands on.

    Location is Auckland as part of the small Head Office team. The factory operation is in Gisborne. This will require frequent travel to liaise and be alongside factory staff. Excellent communication skills are essential. Work closely with three key Managers; F/C, CEO and GM –Supply.

    Duties include but not limited to:

    • Inventory records update and maintenance
    • Stock takes and reconciliations
    • Monthly forecasting and planning
    • Sales trend and demand analysis
    • Input to develop product costings using MS Dynamics AX
    • Daily contact with factory over inventory levels and control
    • Track equipment asset details and location identities
    • Look at ways to improve profitability and performance

    Experience in the above tasks is important. Needs analytical ability and a high level of numeracy. You would enjoy the detailed and methodical nature of this role if you like dotting i’s and crossing t’s.

    We would like to hear from candidates with a background in commercial analysis and inventory records/maintenance with accounting appreciation to understand the financial ramifications.  Excellent computer skills are essential, especially with spreadsheets. Knowledge of MS Dynamics AX an advantage.
